The first links in that chain – the Group’s 100+ laying hen farmers – benefit every day from the technical and economic support of Cecabroons, a cross-functional structure of Cecab and Coop de Broons. That organization allows farmers to develop their stock to be as closely aligned as possible with consumer expectations and the constraints of industrial players in the sector.

In response to its consumers, the egg sector developed a model by adapting to societal expectations. As a result, the Group has rolled out alternative production methods like organic and the Label Rouge and now holds a 30% market share for organic eggs in Brittany.
